Autohive vs Copilot

Copilot helps you write the document. Autohive runs the process. Build AI agents and workflows across Microsoft 365 and every other tool you use, for every employee, on the model that fits each job.

Why teams choose Autohive for business automation

Works with Microsoft. Isn't limited to it.

Autohive connects to Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner and Power BI, and just as easily to HubSpot, Xero, Slack, Google Workspace, Shopify and 140+ other tools. Your processes rarely live in one vendor's apps.

Everyone in, no licence maths

Microsoft 365 Copilot is licensed per user, on top of a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan. Autohive includes unlimited seats on every plan, so frontline, part-time and contract staff can use the same agents as everyone else.

Every leading model, chosen by you

Copilot offers OpenAI and Anthropic models and routes between them for you. Autohive adds Google Gemini, xAI Grok and open-source models, and lets you choose the model for each agent, or mix them in one workflow.

Copilot makes Office smarter. Autohive automates the business.

Microsoft 365 Copilot is excellent inside Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. Autohive is built for the processes that run across all your tools, and many teams use both. Here's how they compare today.

Example

A 120-person distributor on Microsoft 365, with HubSpot and Xero, wants to automate overdue-invoice follow-ups

The Autohive Way
Day 1:
The operations manager describes the job. Agent Creator builds an agent connected to Outlook, HubSpot and Xero.
Week 1:
A workflow runs every morning. It checks overdue invoices in Xero, drafts follow-ups in Outlook and waits for the account manager's approval before sending.
Week 2:
The agent joins the sales team's Teams channel, so anyone can ask for a customer's status, including warehouse staff without Copilot licences.
Month 1:
Finance, sales and the warehouse each run their own agents on the same plan. Owners track hours saved by workspace.
Result:
Cross-system processes automated by the people who run them, with Microsoft 365 still at the centre.
The Microsoft Copilot Way
Day 1:
Licensed staff use Copilot to summarise emails and draft follow-ups in Outlook. It's a real boost to personal productivity.
Week 1:
To automate the daily Xero and HubSpot check, the team scopes a Copilot Studio agent using Power Platform connectors.
Week 2:
Licence planning: Copilot for office staff, with frontline staff on Copilot Chat and custom agent use metered through Azure.
Month 1:
The process agent goes live after it's built and tested. Changes are usually made by whoever owns the Copilot Studio build.
Result:
Excellent help inside Office, with cross-system automation run as a separate build project.

Do we need Copilot licences to use Autohive in Teams?
